How Much the Breasts can be Enlarged?

It's a must you get examined in order for the determination of this size (width-length-height).

After your doctor makes a decision on the shape of the prosthesis, she/he will consider many factors related to your shoulder anatomy, neck anatomy etc. and will determine the sizes which will provide a natural look on you.

Should the Implant be inserted through an incision in the Armpit, under the Breast or around the Areola?

The prostheses are inserted through an incision in the armpit, under the breast or around the areola depending on the anatomy of the ribcage, skin-tissue characteristics of the breast, as well as the practices of the surgeon.
The technique which is determined in the combination (shape, size) decided according to your breast can be the under breast or the areola.

Under the Muscle or Over the Muscle Implant?

Silicones can be inserted through an incision in the armpit, under the breast or around the areola. Whether the prosthesis is to be placed under the muscle or over the muscle is determined depending on from where the silicone is to be inserted. For some women it's suitable under the muscle whereas for some women it's only feasible over the muscle. For some women, a part of the prosthesis is placed over the muscle while the rest is placed under the muscle.

Where Do the Scars Appear?

Each placement technique has both advantages and disadvantages. Since every woman has different breast characteristics, the most advantageous method for the cut is determined according to the breast characteristics of the woman. For instance, silicone gel prostheses cannot be used in incisions on the armpit.

Regardless of where the incision is, in other words whether the placement is performed through an incision under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit, a cut will be performed. Since the cut is unavoidable, there will appear a visible scar in all circumstances. This scar will be barely visible after one (1) year. It will be hardly visible like a scratch caused by nail. Following your operation, your doctor will give you the necessary directions-instructions in order to make the scar as much invisible as possible.
