As a matter of fact, the operations performed in the facial region are very sensitive. We are of the opinion that the information regarding Rhytidoplasty should be given during the examination since one may be misinformed while reading the technical explanations.

Examination for Forehead

In the facial region, Brow Lift, Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Cheek Implant, Rhytidoplasty and Temporal Brow Lift are also performed.

It's necessary that you tell your doctor clearly what complaints you have in your face. Your doctor will assess you aesthetically. She/he will tell you the necessary things required for an aesthetic appearance. However, it's essential that you put into words your desires completely and tell with which regions you are not happy clearly. Depending on your expectations, your doctor will tell you whether she/he plans only a forehead lift or she/he plans other facial surgeries as well.

Sometimes persons have low brows. In case there are low brows, Forehead Lift is performed together with Brow Lift.

You should learn well how your surgery will be performed, either with a single operation or multiple operations.

Is Forehead Lift Lasting?

The results of the operation are permanent. You look younger despite your age.

Before and After Forehead Lift

1. Forehead Lift is performed with general anaesthesia by plastic surgeons under operating room conditions.
2. The operation takes approximately 1 to 1,5 hours.
3. You may have swelling and bruises during the first 3-4 days. These don't obstruct your everyday life.
4. You may have a slight pain. You will be relieved of this pain with analgesics.
5. Your doctor will direct you during your medical dressing and checkups.
6. There are two methods as Endoscopic and Classic. Before your surgery, you should learn well from your doctor which method she/he plans to use for the surgery.
7. Your anaesthesia and tests will be performed before the operation.
8. You can start doing sport activities 3 weeks after the operation upon your doctor's approval.
9. Prior to the operation, you will read the operation techniques and information in written which have been previously conveyed to you verbally. You will need to sign this verbal information after reading it in written.
10. If the planned surgery is only the forehead lift as planned in the examination with your doctor, the process after the operation is as stated. If you are to undergo other surgeries, as well as the forehead lift, you can read the relevant process in the summary of the relevant operation(s).
11. You can go back to your work 3 days after your operation.
